Job Description
Position Title: Engineering Team Leader
Job Purpose:
This key role of Engineering Team Lead is within the Large Power Systems Division’s Core Packaging group. As an Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a team of design control engineers to solve complex technical problems and lead technical discussions related to genset package mechanical systems. This position will lead the planning and delivery of projects for cost, time, and quality, as well as mentor and coach team members while staying abreast of current/innovative technologies and deepening their professional network. You will also be responsible for managing the team workload, along with leading project initiatives and demonstrating product development excellence.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect, and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.
Product Design and Development: Extensive knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
Products and Services: Working knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of products and services appropriately to diverse situations.
