Video Editor Fashion Films Freelance

This is a freelance/contract position with work based on project needs.

I’m looking for a high-level video editor with a sharp eye for fashion, movement, and storytelling. You’ll transform raw footage into elevated, brand-driven visuals. This role blends technical skill with creative vision and requires someone who can deliver polished, on-brand edits under fast-moving timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to cut raw footage and craft a visually compelling story that aligns with brand tone and direction.
• Perform color correction, sound design, and light motion graphics when needed.
• Organize and manage media, project files, and exports for efficient handoff.

Rate: $450/day

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in professional editing, preferably in fashion
• Skilled in Adobe Premiere
• Works independently but takes creative direction well.
• Fast, efficient, and adaptable to last-minute feedback.
• Understands urban fashion culture and skillfully translates video into compelling content.
• Confident in navigating music libraries to find the perfect video soundtrack.

Nice to have: Experience working on set or with production teams.

You can work from home (although it is not required to be in the office daily). Still, you must live in or near Los Angeles for one or more of these reasons: You might need to pick up or drop off gear, drives, or materials locally, the company is based in LA and wants you available for occasional in-person meetings, shoots, or events.
